ANNUAL MEETING OF SOUTHSIDE COMMUNITIES FIRE PROTECTION, INC.

Notice is hereby given that the 60th Annual Meeting of Southside Communities Fire Protection, Inc., will be held on the evening of September 22, 2021. Due to precautions related to the COVID-19 pandemic, the meeting will be held virtually. The annual meeting will be called to order at 6:30 P.M., for transactions of amending the By-Laws and such other business as may be proper. Please contact the Compliance Officer at 912-354-1011 for more information on how to attend.

Fire Subscriptions

Chatham Emergency Services is a private not for profit fire department that covers unincorporated Chatham County. Chatham Fire operates on a subscription based system where homeowners are responsible for subscribing to fire protection.

Fire Subscription Rate Update

Chatham Emergency Services' Board of Directors has approved a rate increase in May 2021.  This increase was needed as the ongoing pandemic and economic conditions have increased expenses for supplies, equipment, and personnel.
