NPQ Firefighter II

Course Description

The course is designed for the Fire Fighter I who is ready to assume a leadership role in a department. This course consists of topics designed to give the student more knowledge of fire ground situations so that he/she can make basic evaluations of safety problems and assume leadership roles in carrying out interior attack and search operations.  Successful completion of this course and GFSTC testing may lead to NPQ certification.

Course Schedule

Online material will be assigned, and must be completed prior to the beginning of class.  This is a shift-friendly course.  The material taught on Day 1 will be taught twice, the material on Day 2 twice, etc.  Students must attend one of each day for a total of three days.  If you have any questions or concerns regarding this schedule, please contact the course coordinator.

Day 1 – April 9 and April 10 (Must attend one of these days)

Day 2 – April 15 and April 16 (Must attend one of these days)

Day 3 – April 18 and April 19 (Must attend one of these days)

Day 4 – April 24 and April 25 (Must attend one of these days)

Day 5 – April 30 and May 1 (Must attend one of these days)
